Hi everyone,

This is a piece I have been working on, it's carved in pear and is 7.1cm tall, 2.6cm wide, 2.1cm deep.

It is a bit of a different style to what I have seen here on the forum and I wondered about your thoughts on that.

Ps if the pics are too big just let me know, I did this on my phone so am not 100% sure on sizing

I like the concept, the wood colour, the shape, actually everything about it. :8)

Size is something.

It is a pleasing piece. Reminds me of a large rainbow obsidian sculpture I bid on years ago.

This netsuke is utilizing the S-curve concept in an ingenious way, where the curve is present from all angles. It is very pleasing to the eye, simplified and begs to be handled! Congratulations!

Thank you all for your lovely positive comments. I am still finding my feet with carving Netsuke so all comments are most helpful :)
