Nice Oni, Thomas.
This monkey with offset himotoshi brought a record auction price in 1972 due most likely to the signature of famous metal artist, Natsuo. Most of his work relates to sword fittings. He was also commissioned in 1869 to design the new Meiji coins.

This Setsubun Oni in "Ojime-magical Jewels of Japan" appears to also have offset himotoshi.

Judy sorry for the delay.
Height 16mm, width 13mm, I talk 17mm. It is the small ojime mas that I have. Another curious information to the one that likes to give attention, is to the diameter of the himotoshi, can give us tracks on the cord that a past use and therefore of the size of the inro, bag, pipe etc .. in this ojime it is of 3,5mm

Nio, a bit of information? Is it really blue as appears in the photos? Lacquered? Subject-quail?
