Skull Ojime

Postby Thomas1 » Wed Apr 26, 2017 3:05 pm

Hi

Here is my Skull Ojime with Miniature Heart Sutra Kanji signed Sanzan Koji Sawa Koku (Three Mountian Taoist made)

I have heard of the Japanese doing miniature writing like this but was wondering if anyone had any knowledge to share on this art form.
Thanks!
Tom

For reference a USA 25 cent (quarter) coin is just under one inch in diameter at 25.26mm.
Wow, Tom, that's tiny script. You know more about it than I but hopefully someone like Piers can elaborate.

It's the full script of the Heart Sutra, inscribed by 三山居士浮刻,means "the three mountain man kebori"
