Good points Martyn. And some auction houses such as Bonhams in SF have what they call Asian Decorative Arts sales in addition to Asian Fine Art or even a sale of an individual collection. The lower end sales sometimes yield bargains or good beginner pieces as well as unloading the marginal pieces for the consignor. But the auction houses don't always get it right and there can be crossover of good and bad material.

I guess my point was simply Zacke sales quality, may at times suffer, for reasons other than an "expert" getting it wrong
