Alan, The Auction house was Bonhams in May 2013, ND in his description quote end the way expensive netsuke.
The artist is a mistery.
As you know I care only beauty not signatures or period.
Unimatsu not allaways must be
Row or not elaborate as we know...
This example is a very accurate
Carved piece as we can see...
Excellence in netsuke art don't need signature or pedigree, or age, only quality, aesthetics, beauty.
