Hi there, yes, this looks like a Chinese classical poem, of three lines of five words each, and dated on the far left 両成年
It might be possible for me to work on this poem to identify it but could take some time as it is different from Japanese and I am not a Chinese scholar. Of course there is a likelihood that the illustration on your box is what the poem talks about. Do you know any specialists in Chinese poetry? We do have one expert in the USA but he has not visited the site just recently.

The first line seems to be 翅老西風点 but written by a Chinese person I would guess. The first character is an old Kanji for 'wings'. I cannot read the line but it is a series of images something like "Wings, old, west wind, place" If you can use this line to source the original poem this could be the key. I can get some other characters too, such as 秋江 宿 花 etc., perhaps about 50% altogether, but it is not really enough to bring up this poem. Sorry not to be of much help. :(
