new shell

Hi, this is my last work. 5,5 x 3 x 3 cm, painted boxwood.

That's truly amazing. Is everything boxwood, including the little bits of tube?

The textures and colors and replication of a natural subject's structure are amazing.

That is really impressive! I thought it was a real cluster of shells and marine life! Congrats!

Hi Raoux,

Thank you for sharing - a feat of skill to have carved. I especially like the addition of the worm casts.

The treatment rustic. How did you achieve the texture of that white surface with paint alone?

Hi. It is only the way to use pigments that give the look of the raw. Nothing else.
