okimono signature

I am reposting this with a better signature. Can anyone make out the signature? Any opinion on it's age? How does a broken piece of the mop impact it's value?

Unfortunately, broken okimono or netsuke are greatly devalued. It is a sad reality to something once it is damaged. :(
