Thanks, Vlad, for sharing these and to Oleg for creating some fabulous carvings. I find the Dragon/Tiger tomoe motif very interesting. The mouse in broken egg is quite appealing. Was it intended as mitate for the Tengu? The frog on leaves is quite alive. May we ask which are your favorites and which you feel you played the largest role in its creation/design?

Besides the first two, I have only contributed to the tiger/dragon - yin/yang idea by eventually drawing it as best as I could (not an artist :ugeek: ), which has actually taken us two attempts, as you can see, and the monkey with the persimmon piece. Some others including the frog were already there, and the rest Oleg did based on his own inspiration and vision.
I am happy you liked some of them and hope it brought some fun and entertainment to the Forum. It was initially planned as an article for the INSJ, but then it somehow did not materialize into much, as I found myself totally incapable of elegantly describing the pieces themselves (unlike some others on this Forum), as Paul Moss had continuously mastered over the years in his books... :(
