Re: Spring 2018 Journals arrived

I hope we see more articles from you Piers - was a real pleasure to read. I did find the time for a glass of wine and Rosey's article on the Sunday evening. It was engaging and educational. I now want to know more about the Nara school! What amazes me is that Rosey finds the time to encourage articl...

I would encourage those who could offer their talents in areas that would benefit the INS to please communicate with any of the Board or even here on the forum. It seems clear to me that we do not currently foster a two way communication path between membership and the elected officials. Many have ...

Re: Colour

Good morning Serge,

I've not seen your dragon fish before. It looks appealing. Are the horns in horn? Would you mind sharing more photos of it?

Re: Euronetsuke Fest 2018: 11th - 13th May 2018

Hmmm ... I wonder whether Euronetsuke will contemplate videoing this event? I don't mind doing some videoing if asked ;) I think it's a great idea! Hi Lisa, Sorry not to reply sooner. There is some great news. Euronetsuke have been donated a brand new video recorder. Between us, we'll need to figur...

Re: INS President's letter

Dear Marsha, Alan and Rosey, I respectfully address this to you three as it is apparent you are the only current board members willing to stand up and openly discuss the boards activities and it's future. For this I thank you. None of you are paid for the time you give to keep the society running. I...

Re: Euronetsuke Fest 2018: 11th - 13th May 2018

Alex, thanks for the London Walks info. I wonder if they did the Ghost Walk at a past convention there. The Pub Walk looks like something to check out. Unless some of our UK friends have already dragged us to the favorites. There is a Ghost walk that takes you through Gas-lit alleyways, Georg...

Re: Euronetsuke Fest 2018: 11th - 13th May 2018

Do we have any replacement plans for the saturday afternoon yet or are we just going to have a good look round some of the museum collections. I was dissapointed to see the the BM are closing their Japan gallery for refurbishment but i look forward to the new displays opening later in the year. Hi ...

Re: Bonhams "Fine Japanese Art" - 17th May 2018

Hi Jim - good to hear from you :) Yes I received mine as well today. Not sure about low estimates - seemed reasonably standard for the Bonham's Fine Art sales - what was more surprising was the number of mixed lots. Noticed quite a few pieces from David Bowden, who passed last year, and a friend of ...
