Well I never saw that with Neil!! Was it on his site? Stuff sells quick. You beat me to it. Wonderful patina to the wood. Congratulations. A piece to be proud of. Thanks Martyn, I bought it from him some time ago actually, at least 5 maybe 6 years so have no excuses for not doing some research yet!

Hi Martyn, The signature is Shubokusai who was probably a pupil of one of the Shugetsu's.
