Re: I believe my winning streak comes to an end.

Oi Curt.. less of the "crash and burn".. if you watch the gif sequence at the end the unfortunate chappy looks like he's just about on his feet again. :D FWIW.. being prepared to make mistakes is an absolutely vital part of all learning.. in fact I often say that the real expert is the fel...

Welcome to the INS forum Curt.

FWIW.. I too believe your netsuke to be a genuine Anraku or at least from his associated circle.

Re: New Member - Thank You Martyn Jones!

Welcome to the INS forum Curt. FWIW.. I too believe your netsuke to be a genuine Anraku or at least from his associated circle. As far as that Facebook netsuke group goes... Re: Chon's Reflections

Piers.. try giving the edge of the piece a rub on some rough paper.. see if it leaves a brown mark.

Re: Citrus peel experiment

Alan.. That's pretty spooky as I'm just putting the finishing touches to my home-made laminar flow hood and the work station to house it .. and apart from Martyn a hour or so ago, I've told nobody.

Re: Citrus peel experiment

Hi Piers,

Last time I looked it was progressing splendidly but I'm currently rebuilding my studio to accommodate a special dust free lacquer area and can't get to it. Will post some pics when done though.
