Hello Christophe and welcome to the Forum. You have some very interesting and artistic works out there. I hope our member-carvers will comment on different aspects of them. Could you please tell us a little more about your carvings - size, material, are they all netsuke, and also a little about yourself - how long have you been carving and what made you interested in netsuke in particular? Thanks

Another great work, Christophe! Congratulations, especially for not using the modern machinery and for carving with hand tools only. I first did not notice, that you've added some additional info on yourself in your initial post. Very interesting!

I also wonder if you are aware of the carver's forums and did show your works there. Those guys, some of whom are frequent guests here as well, may be a much more understanding the carvers difficulties and techniques audience and much more useful and helpful long term to someone like you. Clive, Janel, Freda or Natasha - could you maybe introduce Christophe to your respective groups?
