Hello Christophe and welcome to the Forum. You have some very interesting and artistic works out there. I hope our member-carvers will comment on different aspects of them. Could you please tell us a little more about your carvings - size, material, are they all netsuke, and also a little about yourself - how long have you been carving and what made you interested in netsuke in particular? Thanks __________________ "Oiδα οuκ εiδώς" - Socrates. Plato, Republic, 354b, (conclusion of book I) |

Another great work, Christophe! Congratulations, especially for not using the modern machinery and for carving with hand tools only. I first did not notice, that you've added some additional info on yourself in your initial post. Very interesting!
I also wonder if you are aware of the carver's forums and did show your works there. Those guys, some of whom are frequent guests here as well, may be a much more understanding the carvers difficulties and techniques audience and much more useful and helpful long term to someone like you. Clive, Janel, Freda or Natasha - could you maybe introduce Christophe to your respective groups? __________________ "Oiδα οuκ εiδώς" - Socrates. Plato, Republic, 354b, (conclusion of book I) |
